BRAND, MARKETING & SALES FUNDRAISING NEWS COMMUNITY EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING FLUORO FOR NEURO In February, we were incredibly excited to launch Fluoro for Neuro, a new and fun campaign that anyone can get involved in. We’re challenging people to ‘go fluoro’, as little or as much as they like, to help us raise awareness and vital funds to improve the support and services we provide to thousands of Western Australians living with a neurological condition. Participants can choose to fundraise for a particular condition such as MS, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Acquired Brain Injury, MND or Stroke, or simply choose ‘MSWA’ to support all neurological conditions. We’ve been amazed at the different ways people have raised awareness – wearing fluoro to the gym, getting fluoro manicures, even skydiving in a Fluoro for Neuro t-shirt! For more information and to join the fun, visit mswafluoroforneuro. com.au THE MSWA OCEAN RIDE Powered by Retravision 24 November, 2019 In November we cheered on participants in the tenth annual MSWA Ocean Ride, an iconic cycling event that takes riders along WA’s beautiful coastline from Fremantle to Hillarys. The event continues to grow and in 2019 we added a new 120km challenge, increasing the number of ride distances to six, to cater for people of all ages and fitness levels. Over 1,400 people registered for the event. Above: MSWA Member, Nicolette Murphy and son, Nathaniel. Sandy Innis took part as a member of the Mandurah Team. The annual Members Ride, in which MSWA Members and Clients who are living with a neurological condition get involved during their weekly physiotherapy classes, had a fantastic turnout – 98 Members completed the challenge. Sharon Lamont won most kilometres ridden in the Individual Members Ride. 20

Medal presentation at Rockingham Outreach – ‘Rockingham outride the rest!’ The Butler, Rockingham, Mandurah, Wilson, Geraldton, Albany, Beechboro and Kelmscott Centres all took part in the Stationary Cycle Challenge. Congratulations to the team at Rockingham, the Outreach Centre that took the title of most kilometres ridden in 2019. Thank you to everyone who took part.
